Katie Gries, MHA, CMPE
President

Katie Gries is the Practice Improvement Manager for the Saint Alphonsus Health Alliance, a Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) serving independent and employed providers throughout the Treasure Valley and eastern Oregon. Her role allows her to work collaboratively with area providers to execute population health management processes, innovative care continuums, and team-based strategies in the primary care setting.

Katie began her career in healthcare as a receptionist for a local, independent practice. That experience provided the foundation for future opportunities in clinical research, billing and coding, clinic administration, and contract negotiations.

Nicole Brown, MBA, CMPE

Nicole Brown, MBA, CMPE is the Regional Director of Orthopedics for Saint Alphonsus Health System. In her role, Nicole is accountable for working collaboratively with physicians and operational leaders across the health system to develop and execute strategies that support the mission of Saint Alphonsus and advance the musculoskeletal service line. 

Nicole is a Boise native with 20 years of experience in healthcare. She earned her undergraduate degree from Boise State University in 1998 and later obtained her MBA in 2013. Nicole currently serves as President of the Idaho MGMA Board of Directors. She has been a member of MGMA and Idaho MGMA since 2007, and passed her CMPE exams in 2014.

Jesse Arnoldson, MBA
President-Elect

Jesse is the Director of Client Strategies for MedMan (‘Medical Management, Inc.’).  In this role, Jesse is accountable for many of MedMan's advances in the practices' transition to value-based reimbursement, specifically guiding administrators and doctors through MACRA and MIPS. Additionally, Jesse serves the role of interim administrator when medical groups are experiencing transition with their management.

Prior to joining MedMan, Jesse owned a health insurance agency where he gained valuable knowledge of the Affordable Care Act provisions and payer reimbursement methods. Jesse obtained his Masters of Business Administration in 2015 from Idaho State University and also holds Bachelor’s degree in Spanish for Business and Professions. He lives in Meridian along with his wife and two children.

Dan Trube, MHA
Treasurer

Dan is the Administrator for the Idaho Arthritis Center. He is an experienced medical practice manager with a demonstrated history of working in the medical practice industry. Dan’s expertise includes healthcare consulting, strategic planning, physician relations, and Medicare. He has significant knowledge as well regarding information technology as it relates to the healthcare environment. 

Dan obtained his Master’s degree focused in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and currently resides in the Treasure Valley.

Kristine Goodman

Communications Director 

Kristine Goodman is a Clinic Administrator for Primary Health Medical Group. She also has experience working in various capacities in healthcare prior to her current role, including volunteer coordinator of the Pulse B Fit Team, which combines fitness events and community projects to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club, disadvantaged youth, and local animal rescues. Kristine also volunteers on Idaho MGMA's conference committee.

Kristine is passionate about understanding people and their experience to drive results. She is currently completing her Design Ethnography Certificate at Boise State University to enhance these skills. She is always looking for the next adventure or challenge, inside or outside of work. You can find her playing in the Boise foothills or the Owyhee mountains on the weekends.

Cindy Hodges
Conference Director

Cindy Hodges is Human Resources Director for Saltzer Medical Group. Cindy has been part of the Saltzer Medical Group team for 20 years, and has held the position of Human Resources Director of their organization since 2000. She is also currently a member of the Nampa Chamber of Commerce, and is a previous Board Member of Canyon County Employers Association.

Cindy has been involved with Idaho MGMA for many years, serving as Communications Director from 2012 to 2014, and volunteering as a Conference Committee member since 2010. Cindy is looking forward to helping Idaho MGMA with conference planning activities.

Sara Lords, MHA
Education Director

Sara Lords is the Operations Outcomes Project Manager at Primary Health Medical Group. In her role, Sara is responsible for operational process creation and improvement, with the aligned focus on overall outcomes improvement for the company. In addition, her role serves as a liaison between Population Health and Operations, working to find better solutions for meeting our population health goals and aligning those processes to our day to day functions in all 19 PHMG clinics.

Sara graduated from Boise State University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and later completed her Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Colorado State University in 2016. Sara is excited to utilize her education, work experience, and excellent communication skills as the Education Director for Idaho MGMA.

Laura Landers, MBA
Membership Director

Laura Landers is an Operations Director for Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, supporting multiple primary care clinics in Ada County, encompassing over 80 physicians and APPs. Laura has been with Saint Alphonsus for over 16 years, with increasing levels of responsibility. Her passion is supporting and educating colleagues on resiliency and tools to combat burnout.

Laura graduated from Boise State University in 2000 with a Bachelors in Psychology, and returned again to Boise State to complete a Masters in Business Administration in 2013. Although Laura is a new member to the IMGMA, she is excited to share her skills and enthusiasm with the organization and its members.

Nikki Burroughs
Operations Director

Nikki is a Clinic Administrator for Primary Health Medical Group. In this role, Nikki is accountable for leading the daily operations of a medical clinic and its physicians and staff in the delivery of high quality care and service. Nikki also manages a clinic budget and is responsible for staff scheduling, continual training of and communication with existing staff, employee performance, clinic inventory, customer service, and implementing, monitoring, and refining processes to ensure her clinic runs as smoothly as possible. Nikki is already a demonstrated team player, working on a day-to-day basis with a large group of senior management, peers, and staff at Primary Health.

Prior to joining Primary Health Medical Group, Nikki worked as a District Manager for Starbucks, where she gained invaluable skills in human resource management, operations management, and customer service.

Crystal Hartmann, CMPE
ACMPE Forum Representative

Crystal Hartmann, CMPE, is the Clinic Administrator for Primary Health Medical Group. In addition to managing the day to day clinic operations, she has held “additional hats,” alongside her management duties at Primary Health, that include being the lead New Employee Orientation Trainer for both front office and back office hires, a company trainer for newly hired Clinic Administrators, and the EMR trainer for new urgent care midlevel’s who are being on boarded. She has a robust knowledge of the front office and back office workflows and enjoys coaching her clinic care team to provide the best patient experience. She additionally has a passion for Appointment Based practice building for both newly hired FP’s and those struggling to build their practice.

Crystal completed her Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion from Boise State University in 2007 and earned her CMPE certification in 2015. In addition to her job within healthcare, she owns her own personal training business. Crystal resides in Eagle Idaho with her husband and German shepherd “child.”

Andrea Robertson, RD, CSR, LD

Andrea Robertson is the Practice Manager of Idaho Nephrology Associates. Andrea graduated from Brigham Young University and has over 25 years of experience in healthcare.

Andrea is a dietitian by trade and has an innate desire to help people improve their life with healthy living! She has worked in the field of nephrology for the last 15 years where she discovered her passion. She has been a member of MGMA and the Idaho MGMA since 2015.

Zina Webster
Legislative Liaison

Zina Webster is the Office Manager for Valley Facial Plastics and ENT in Lewiston, Idaho. Zina has been an Idaho MGMA member for six years, volunteering in multiple capacities, including on the conference committee and as North Idaho Regional Ambassador.

 

In the community, Zina has been actively involved in her local church and with the Boys and Girls Club. She is someone who consistently monitors the news and various articles to make sure both herself and her team are knowledgeable and aware of developments in healthcare, and she is excited to be able to contribute to Idaho MGMA.
