2016 MGMA Compensation and Salary Survey

  • The MGMA 2016 Management and Staff Compensation Survey and the MGMA 2016 Provider Compensation and Production Survey has closed. By participating in future MGMA surveys, you’re contributing to industry leading benchmark data and as a benefit you’ll receive access to your state’s survey results for free. Participation is open to both MGMA members and nonmembers.

2015 MGMA Compensation and Salary Survey

 

As many of you know, in the past, Idaho MGMA has conducted our own Salary and Benefits Survey for members in our state. From here forward, MGMA National has invited us to participate in their survey, called the MGMA Compensation and Production Survey for Providers and Staff. The 2015 survey collection was open from January 26 – March 13, 2015. Here is more information on how practices participated.

The MGMA Compensation and Production Survey for providers and staff collects data on provider and staff compensation, provider collections, encounters, and other metrics for a one-year period.

All survey participants received free, online access to the survey results for the areas in which they submit feedback. For instance, if a physician/medical practice completes the physician component, but not the staff component, they only had access to the physician results and vice versa. The results provided a compensation and production benchmark at the national level, as well as at the state level, and for custom regions designated by the state. The benchmarking report included medical data across multiple indicators including specialty, geographic region, practice setting, years in specialty and method of compensation.

Practices of all sizes were eligible to participate.

You do not have to be a member of MGMA to participate in the survey. The MGMA Compensation and Production Survey for Providers and Staff collects data on provider and staff compensation, provider collections, encounters, physician work RVUs and other metrics for a one-year period. From solo practices to large hospital systems, our participants represent thousands of practices nationwide.

2014 Annual Salary and Benefits Survey

The 2014 Salary and Benefits Survey results are available for purchase directly from Idaho MGMA. The survey results are provided at no cost to any medical practice that completed the survey! Not sure if your group participated last year? Please email idahomgma@gmail.com to find out.

 
The Salary and Benefits Survey is a comprehensive publication that collects salary and benefits data related to all non-physician employees in a medical practice and ambulatory surgery center setting. 

Practices that did not participate in the survey may purchase the 2014 survey results for:

  • Idaho MGMA Members: $100
  • Non-member medical group practices: $200

The 2013 and 2014 Idaho MGMA Salary and Benefits Surveys were sponsored, developed, and compiled through the joint efforts of the Idaho MGMA and Cooper Norman, a public accounting firm. The surveys were prepared by Idaho MGMA and distributed to several organizations providing health care services throughout the state of Idaho. Results are compiled and organized for dissemination by Cooper Norman.
