2015 MGMA Compensation and Salary SurveyAs many of you know, in the past, Idaho MGMA has conducted our own Salary and Benefits Survey for members in our state. From here forward, MGMA National has invited us to participate in their survey, called the MGMA Compensation and Production Survey for Providers and Staff. The 2015 survey collection was open from January 26 – March 13, 2015. Here is more information on how practices participated.
The MGMA Compensation and Production Survey for providers and staff collects data on provider and staff compensation, provider collections, encounters, and other metrics for a one-year period.
All survey participants received free, online access to the survey results for the areas in which they submit feedback. For instance, if a physician/medical practice completes the physician component, but not the staff component, they only had access to the physician results and vice versa. The results provided a compensation and production benchmark at the national level, as well as at the state level, and for custom regions designated by the state. The benchmarking report included medical data across multiple indicators including specialty, geographic region, practice setting, years in specialty and method of compensation.
Practices of all sizes were eligible to participate.
You do not have to be a member of MGMA to participate in the survey. The MGMA Compensation and Production Survey for Providers and Staff collects data on provider and staff compensation, provider collections, encounters, physician work RVUs and other metrics for a one-year period. From solo practices to large hospital systems, our participants represent thousands of practices nationwide.
