Brad Turpen, MBA, FACMPE

Director of Medical Affairs

St. Luke's Health System

Brad and his wife, Tara, Iove raising their three very active daughters.  They are passionate about healthy living and enjoy doing just about anything outdoors, especially biking and skiing in the Idaho mountains.  Brad and Tara are very involved in their kids’ activities as coaches and volunteers, but when they’re not doing that, they are usually working at their home, where they have a large garden, a small orchard, and a few chickens.  Brad grew up in this area and left to attend the Air Force Academy, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Management.  He served active duty for six years as a Program Manager.  During his service, he earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Utah State University and competed for the Air Force Triathlon team.  Brad always intended to return to Boise and came back in 2002 to start a family.  He has been working in Healthcare Administration for the past 10 years and served on the Idaho Medical Group Management Association Board from 2006-2012.  He currently works on the Idaho Healthcare Executive Forum Board as Education Chair.  Brad is dedicated to his community and currently volunteers as a Commissioner for Boise City Parks and Recreation and serves on the Treasure Valley Y Healthy Living Branch Advisory Council.  Brad’s parents and brothers, as well as their families, all live in the area and they love to spend time together.
