Rachel Pugmire, FACMPE, MHS,RT(R), CNMT, NCT

Rachel Pugmire works as Senior Director of St. Luke’s Idaho Cardiology Associates, a position she has held since 2016. Rachel began her career with St Luke’s in 2002 and joined the Idaho Cardiology team in May 2006. Previously, Rachel served as Practice Manager of St. Luke's Idaho Cardiology Associates Nuclear Medicine Departments and Anticoagulation Clinics (cardiology/pharmacy-run clinics).

Rachel obtained her Masters of Health Science Leadership degree in May 2014. She additionally holds Bachelor’s degrees in Radiology from Boise State University and Nuclear Medicine from Weber State University. Rachel also served as the hospitality chair of Idaho MGMA’s conference committee in 2013, and the Idaho MGMA Conference Director in 2016.

Greg S. Feltenberger, PhD, MBA, FACMPE, FACHE

Greg Feltenberger is the Chief Executive Officer of Idaho Urologic Institute, a Meridian-based independent medical group comprised of three facilities which include a specialty care clinic and an ambulatory surgery center. He recently retired from the US Air Force after 21 years as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Medical Service Corps. Greg earned his undergraduate degree (Summa Cum Laude) with a specialty in Biomedical Equipment Technology in 1996 and then went on to pursue an MBA from Kent State University in 2000. Most recently, he received his doctorate in Health Service Research from Old Dominion University in 2012. His management style is founded on a passion for communication, collaboration, innovation, and change management.

Nicole Brown, MBA, CMPE

Nicole is the Executive Director of OGA, a Meridian-based independent medical group comprised of eight physicians and three nurse practitioners.The clinic operates out of Meridian, Eagle and Nampa. In her role, she advises the Board of Directors on strategic, financial, and operational initiatives. Through management of personnel, Nicole directs and coordinates the operation and administration of the practice in a manner consistent with the mission of the group.Nicole earned her undergraduate degree from Boise State University in 1998 and later obtained her MBA in 2013. Nicole has been a member of MGMA and Idaho MGMA since 2007 and passed her CMPE exams in 2014.

Dan Trube

Dan is the Administrator for the Idaho Arthritis Center. He is an experienced medical practice manager with a demonstrated history of working in the medical practice industry. Dan’s expertise includes healthcare consulting, strategic planning, physician relations, and Medicare. He has significant knowledge as well regarding information technology as it relates to the healthcare environment. 

Dan obtained his Master’s degree focused in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and currently resides in the Treasure Valley.

Jesse Arnoldson

Communications Director 

Jesse is the Director of Client Strategies for MedMan (‘Medical Management, Inc.’).  In this role, Jesse is accountable for many of MedMan's advances in the practices' transition to value-based reimbursement, specifically guiding administrators and doctors through MACRA and MIPS. Additionally, Jesse serves the role of interim administrator when medical groups are experiencing transition with their management.

Prior to joining MedMan, Jesse owned a health insurance agency where he gained valuable knowledge of the Affordable Care Act provisions and payer reimbursement methods. Jesse obtained his Masters of Business Administration in 2015 from Idaho State University and also holds Bachelor’s degree in Spanish for Business and Professions. He lives in Meridian along with his wife and two children.

Cindy Hodges
Conference Director

Cindy Hodges is Human Resources Director for Saltzer Medical Group. Cindy has been part of the Saltzer Medical Group team for 20 years, and has held the position of Human Resources Director of their organization since 2000. She is also currently a member of the Nampa Chamber of Commerce, and is a previous Board Member of Canyon County Employers Association.

Cindy has been involved with Idaho MGMA for many years, serving as Communications Director from 2012 to 2014, and volunteering as a Conference Committee member since 2010. Cindy is looking forward to helping Idaho MGMA with conference planning activities.

Monica Vela, CMAA

Education Director

Monica Vela is the Assistant Operations Manager at Idaho Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, PA. Which is an independent medical group that consists of nine physicians and one physician’s assistant. IPMR has two clinics in Meridian and Boise.

Monica is a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) through the National Healthcareer Association. Her prior experience includes Administrative Medical Assistant for Dr. Nancy Greenwald at IPMR and the Mammography/ Genetics Testing Coordinator at The Imaging Center of Idaho where she managed staff and patient education on genetic mutations. A graduate from Stevens-Henager College, Monica has an Associate of Occupational Studies degree. She is currently pursuing a degree in Business. She is an active member of Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and Idaho MGMA. Monica is very enthusiastic about education and looks forward to an active role on the board.

Jessica Trevino

Membership Director

Jessica Trevino is the Office Manager at Treasure Valley Family Medicine, a young and rapidly growing military veteran-owned, independent clinic emphasizing comprehensive primary care in Meridian. In her work role, she partnered with her physician to open a new business from the ground up, single-handedly running all front office operations. Her excellence has been recognized when she was rated #1 of 5,500+ nationwide Athena office managers in timely completion of accurate claims filing and reconciliation of unpostable claims.   Additionally, she has worked as business manager and lead trainer for Dyer Medical Billing Solutions, a national consultant group that advises clients of the Athena EHR on billing, collections, and efficiencies. Prior to Treasure Valley Family Medicine, she worked as the lead scheduler at Terry Reilly Health Services in Nampa.

Jessica is bilingual with the ability to communicate in both English and Spanish, and giving back to her community is her passion. She is currently an ACMPE nominee and is completing her CPC Certification. Jessica looks forward to serving on the Idaho MGMA board as Membership Director and looking for ways to further add value for members.

Nikki Burroughs
Operations Director

Nikki is a Clinic Administrator for Primary Health Medical Group.  In this role, Nikki is accountable for leading the daily operations of a medical clinic and its physicians and staff in the delivery of high quality care and service. Nikki also manages a clinic budget and is responsible for staff scheduling, continual training of and communication with existing staff, employee performance, clinic inventory, customer service, and implementing, monitoring, and refining processes to ensure her clinic runs as smoothly as possible. Nikki is already a demonstrated team player, working on a day-to-day basis with a large group of senior management, peers, and staff at Primary Health.

Prior to joining Primary Health Medical Group, Nikki worked as a District Manager for Starbucks, where she gained invaluable skills in human resource management, operations management, and customer service. Nikki is thrilled to volunteer on the Idaho MGMA Board of Directors.

Katie Gries, MHA, CMPE

Katie Gries is the Provider Strategy Specialist for the Saint Alphonsus Health Alliance, a physician hospital organization (PHO) serving independent and employed providers throughout the Treasure Valley and eastern Oregon. Her role allows her to work collaboratively with area providers to execute population health management processes, innovative care continuums, and team-based strategies in the primary care setting.Katie began her career in healthcare as a receptionist for a local, independent practice. That experience provided the foundation for future opportunities in clinical research, coding audits, provider education, and payer negotiations.

Andrea Robertson is the Practice Manager of Idaho Nephrology Associates. Andrea graduated from Brigham Young University and has over 25 years of experience in healthcare.


Andrea is a dietitian by trade and has an innate desire to help people improve their life with healthy living! She has worked in the field of nephrology for the last 15 years where she discovered her passion. She has been a member of MGMA and the Idaho MGMA since 2015.

Steven Sumter, MPA
Executive Director

Steven Sumter recently joined Idaho MGMA as Executive Director in April 2016. Previously, Steven began his career in October 2012 as Program Information Coordinator for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare’s Bureau of Rural Health and Primary Care, updating Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) designations and providing assistance to medical, dental, and mental health practices with the National Health Service Corps and other state loan repayment programs for primary care providers.

Steven graduated from Boise State University in December 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and completed his Master of Public Administration degree in December 2015. He is thrilled to be part of the Idaho MGMA team.
